Hopefully Hooking Through the Pandemic

As people have struggled through the isolation of the pandemic, some have turned toward their craft in order to bolster moods and/or express values. This has manifested in many ways, which we will explore here. A common thread that underlies most forms of crafting is the dual nature of the benefits. As the maker seeks to educate, encourage, or soothe, they receive many of the same benefits during the execution of their designs. We will be looking at the layers of meaning that can be found in this form of Material Folk Art.
